Activity

Although the amount of paperwork and printed hard copies is steadily declining, copy machines and printers are still very much needed in the office. These machines emit unnecessary noise which should be minimised to avoid distractions and optimise comfort.

Room Acoustics

The traditional printing- and copy machine rooms are becoming less common as the printers are integrated in the office space but even when there is a dedicated room, the door is often left open allowing the noise to travel. Therefore, high sound absorption is recommended on both ceilings and walls in the printing rooms and vicinity of printing areas to reduce and avoid spreading of the noise emanating from the machines and ventilation system.
